Why connections differ from building to building in Brno

Brno's housing is strongly mixed. The centre has older tenement buildings with thick walls and often historic wiring. Around the edge of the city, housing estates of panel blocks grew up in the 1970s and 1980s, and next to them are family-house districts and villa areas on the slopes. Each type has its own obstacles: in one it is the cable route through the attic, in another the owners' consent, in another the terrain.

That is why you can never say "there is fibre in Brno". You can say whether it is at a specific address and, if not, what the best option is. That is exactly what we do: send the street, number and district and we check what options exist at the building.

The districts people ask about most

Flat, house or business?

Company or office. Write in the form how large a team will use the connection and whether you need a backup line. That tells the provider straight away what you are looking for.

When there is no fibre at the address

If it turns out fibre does not reach the building yet, nothing ends. We find the best available alternative: cable, VDSL over a telephone line or wireless internet.
